An Animated Cartoon Robot with jQuery was created by layering several empty divs over each other with transparent PNGs as background images. The backgrounds were animated at different speeds using a jQuery plug-in by Alexander Farkas. I hand-write W3C valid html code. The W3C attempts to standardize html code and the way browsers read html code. When all browsers are built using W3C standards, web designers will no longer need to fix web pages that look okay on Firefox but look broken when viewed with Internet Explorer.
